KD Conservatory Alumni – Sweatbox Refugee Dance Concert

August 8th and 9th at KD Conservatory Black Box Theatre

Dallas, TX  KD Conservatory is proud to announce the second annual KD Conservatory Musical Theatre Alumni show, Sweat Box Refugees, to be held at the KD Conservatory Black Box Theatre 2600 N Stemmons Frwy Suite 117 Dallas, TX 75207 on Friday, August 8th and Saturday, August 9th at 7:30 pm.  Tickets are $15 at the door on Friday, August 8th with a chance to win an original painting by KD Conservatory’s own Mark Mullino.  Tickets on Saturday, August 9th are $10 at the door.

 

The alumni show includes choreographers: Brittannee Bailey, Eric J. Criner, Cameron-Martin Rabago, Stephanie Butler, Dominique Brinkley, Jennie Jermaine, and Roselynn Johnson Hunter.

 

Producing the show is a joint collaboration between Musical Theatre Director Michael Serrecchia and Musical Theatre Faculty Paula Morelan.  The show is directed by Paula Morelan.

 

About KD Conservatory:

Kim Dawson and Kathy Tyner founded KD Studio, Inc. in 1979 in Dallas, Texas to provide Dallas area actors a workshop space to continue their training. In January 2011, KD Studio, Inc. applied with Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges to operate as KD Conservatory a Subsidiary of KD Studio, Inc., a fully accredited college offering Associate of Applied Arts Degrees in Acting Performance, Musical Theatre, and Motion Picture Production.

Celebrating over 30 years of professional training, our college has been dedicated to the development of acting skills and motion picture production technical skills and to the creation of avenues into the professional world of entertainment. Because the business of entertainment is ever changing, the Board of Directors, administration, staff and faculty are continuously searching for ways to provide a strong foundation for aspiring actors and film technicians.

We believe that each student possesses unique qualities and that by employing their individual strengths; students have the opportunity to develop the skills that will enable them to realize their full potential in the entertainment field.

Our college provides a creative atmosphere in which actors with diverse backgrounds and skill levels can experience a variety of techniques and styles to help hone their skills through practice and discovery.

It also organizes modeling, acting, and film production programs for adults, teenagers and children.
