Troy “Lil Shot” Peoples

Troy “Lil Shot” Peoples is a filmmaker, writer, producer with an eye for whimsical stories that cater towards children. She has earned her Associates of Applied Arts Degree in Motion Picture Production at KD Conservatory where she recently produced the fourth semester thesis film “In-Between.”  She has worked on numerous short films in a variety of roles including director, writer, producer, and production designer. She has a passion for directing and is often inspired by quirky filmmakers such as Tim Burton and Jean Pierre-Jeunet. Growing up, Troy has also always had enthusiasm towards supporting and guiding the youth. Troy and her sisters had a children’s singing group that would perform and inspire hope for children with cancer. This sparked her desire to create films for children that encourages their creativity to flourish with strong moral messaging. Troy will continue striving to delight audiences with her whimsical imagination.
