Oscar Valdez Jr.

Oscar Valdez Jr.’s passion for art ranges from traditional/digital art to filmmaking. While attending Fairhill High School in Dallas, he won 2nd- and 3rd-place awards in the statewide Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools’ art competition. An aspiring director of photography and gaffer, he’s gained experience working on multiple student productions. His all-student team, on which he served as gaffer, won the 2023 Dallas 48-Hour Film Project competition’s Audience Award for their entry, “BFFs Since I Kidnapped You.” In 2024, Oscar will receive his Associate Degree in Motion Picture Production from KD Conservatory in Dallas, TX.
