Alex McCool

Alex McCool is a very passionate filmmaker who has significant experience as a Video Editor and Camera Assistant. He began his filmmaking career by earning an Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Motion Picture Production at the KD College of Film where he worked on a number of films in different capacities. He was the 2nd assistant camera on a comedic short entitled, “Employee of the Month” and on four other shorts and three feature length films. Alex most recently has worked in the art department as a Production Designer and Sound Effects Editor for the 4th semester thesis film entitled “In-Between.” As he’s gained experience in these variety of roles, Alex has also discovered a love for screenwriting and video editing as well and plans to continue growing his skills in those fields.
