Enrolling at KD Studio put me in the Dallas acting community instantly. Nowhere else can you instantly join a network like that. At KD your creative passions are recharged daily: through classes, your classmates, and the incomparable faculty. My understanding of the art and craft of acting has grown in the leaps and bounds; this would not be possible anywhere else, choosing KD was a good decision.
Just like with anything else, you get what you put into this and at the KD you get so much. I’m not just speaking of the acting techniques and skills, you have the possibility of learning so much about life and dealing with people. Here you learn of a whole new world.
This school is totally unique, trust me you will not be disappointed.
The KD program is great for beginners. I came here with little experience and now I have a full resume and complete confidence in myself.
The instructors are the greatest. They make the classes fun and informative. They are very caring about your career. They try to lift your spirits when you’re down. It’s great. I can’t wait to see what 2nd semester is like.
Who ever said that there was an age limit on enrolling in an acting school? There is an actor in everyone, all you have to do is get the training, and believe me, it’s worth it.
Learning never felt so fun!
Before I came to KD I had no clue about the industry. Now I have the confidence and knowledge to start a successful career.
The best thing about KD Studio is an instant network! It’s all real, everything we do is geared toward one thing, getting a job. The teachers hold nothing back and that is exactly what we need.
KD Conservatory is fantastic. From the moment you walk in the doors clueless about what lies ahead of you, to the moment you’re leaving well equipped and prepared for the entertainment industry.. KD is there for you. What’s great is from the relationships built in your time there, the teachers and administrative staff continue to support you after you’re long gone and out working. Great group of peers, great atmosphere. It’s so worth it if Acting, Musical Theatre, or Motion Picture Production is what you’ve been called to do.
I graduated from KD in 2009 and it holds to be the best place I have studied. The teachers and staff are amazing and they are all very knowledgeable about their craft and what they teach. This school is very welcoming and personal. You will grow so much as a person and a performer and meet some amazing people on the way.
Attending KD Conservatory will be one the toughest, most rewarding experiences of your life!
Until I had come to this school, I had never worked so hard in my life. Thank you KD for showing me what I am capable of. Thank you for pushing me past my limits and making me trust my path. This craft is not just about singing cute songs and performing dances for an audience. It’s about telling stories that need to be told to the world, and to generations to come.
The Film program provides students with a wealth of knowledge from working professionals in the industry. Since graduating, I have worked on handfuls of productions in various departments and have never not felt confident that I could fulfill the requirements of any position on set. The instructors at KD are deeply invested in the success of their students on a personal level, and teach relevant, working knowledge via a hands-on approach. I can easily say that had I never attended KD, my career would be nowhere close to where it stands today.
Before I came to KD I had no clue about the industry. Now I have the confidence and knowledge to start a successful career.
