Art Institute Program Alternatives

Art Institutes across the nation closed on September 30.

If you are a student impacted by the closing of the Art Institute of Dallas (AID) or another Art Institute campus across the nation, KD Conservatory, College of Film and Dramatic Arts would like to assist you in your path to a degree in Motion Picture Production.

For years 2022 and 2023 Best Value Schools has named KD Conservatory the number one film school in Texas. Best Value Schools are rated based on the quality of education and the cost of attendance.

Please give us an opportunity to show you how economical it could be to continue your education journey by completing an Associate of Applied Arts in Motion Picture Production with KD Conservatory, which will prepare you to work in television and film, locally or nationally. After completing your AAA degree at KD, if you wish to receive a Bachelor’s Degree you could then take advantage of our articulation agreement with New York Film Academy where, upon acceptance, you can transfer and complete your BFA.

KD Conservatory is fully accredited and approved for Federal Financial Aid.  We would be honored to discuss options for starting at, or transferring to, KD and how we can help you fulfill your desire to become a film maker, producer or editor in a fast-growing industry that is experiencing a new resurgence in Texas.

KD Conservatory offers a fast-paced program that gets you out into the field ready to work or transfer for a higher degree through our New York Film Academy agreement in 15 months. Our unique Motion Picture Production program uses hands on teaching that allows students access to equipment starting in semester one.
