Acting Performance Program

We teach students real skills for the real world.  Our approach is rooted in hands-on, intensive training that gives you the tools and experience you need to begin a successful career in professional acting.

Our faculty is made up of professional working actors, directors, producers and writers. These people are not only great teachers; many of them work in both film and theater and they understand the difference between theory and practice.    Check out their professional credentials here.  

At KD, you’ll work both onstage and in front of the camera each semester.  You’ll learn vocal and physical techniques, stage combat, presentation skills—all aimed at preparing you to work as an actor.  More importantly, we’ll teach you what many colleges can’t—how to break into the business—headshots, resumes, agents, unions, professional audition techniques, all the tools.
